Under the visionary leadership of Shalini Kedia, the founder of the Fragile X Society in India, and Tanya Khubchandani Vatsa, owner of Elixir Wellness, the awareness "An Afternoon of Wellness" was designed to educate attendees about Fragile X Syndrome and its impact on individuals and families. While the event showcased the wellness, services offered by Elixir Wellness, it is essential to emphasize that the event was not intended as a treatment program for Fragile X Syndrome but rather as an opportunity to unite people from various walks of life in support of the cause. Although Fragile X syndrome doesn’t have a cure, an accurate and early diagnosis can truly change the life of the family. Shalini Kedia, the founder of the Fragile X Society in India, added, "Our partnership with Elixir Wellness allows us to reach a wider audience and spread awareness about Fragile X Syndrome. This awareness is an incredible opportunity to foster a sense of community and understanding while promoting wellness as a vital component of supporting families of individuals with Fragile X. We are grateful for the support and dedication of Elixir Wellness and Tanya in this important cause. Together, I believe we can make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by Fragile X Syndrome." "We are honoured to host this exceptional event in collaboration with the Fragile X Society in India," said Tanya Khubchandani, founder and CEO of Elixir Wellness. The same gene can cause fertility problems in women carriers who are at a risk of having a child with the condition. We believe that everyone deserves access to a nurturing and inclusive wellness environment, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this movement."
