The president of the Pharmacy Council of India Dr. Montu M Patel will be conferred ‘honoris causa’ (honorary) doctorate at the 31st convocation of Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, a deemed to be university in Chennai, on Wednesday, December 7.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana will deliver the convocation address, while Dr. ACS Arun Kumar, president of the institute will preside over the event.
In the ceremony the university will also felicitate C Sundar, a film director and producer, with the honorary degree, doctor of letters for his outstanding contributions to Tamil film industry. |
