Balendu Prakash in advisory committee of National Cancer Control Programme

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has included Vaidya Balendu Prakash of VCP Cancer Research Foundation, Dehradun in the Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) of National Cancer Control Programme. He is the first ayurvedic practitioner to be made part of this committee, which consists of India's top ranking oncologists.
The Ministry's PAC is drawn from various ministries and medical institutions and is chaired by joint secretary in the Department of Biotechnology. There are seven medical practitioners in the committee, it is learnt.
