Jindal IVF, a leading institute in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in North India, is making strides in onco-fertility care through its robust Fertility Preservation Programme. Designed to support cancer patients in safeguarding their reproductive potential before undergoing treatments like chemotherapy or radiation, the programme has already benefited over 150 individuals across the region.

Currently, Jindal IVF offers oocyte freezing, embryo freezing, and sperm cryopreservation. These techniques are particularly vital for patients diagnosed with cancers such as breast, endometrial, rectal, and early ovarian tumours, as well as for individuals facing age-related fertility decline. Married women opt for embryo storage, while sperm freezing has emerged as a lifesaving option for men with testicular cancer, lymphoma, or chronic myeloid leukaemia.

The majority of patients seeking fertility preservation are between 18 and 30 years old and are referred to Jindal IVF soon after early-stage cancer diagnosis, allowing timely intervention before treatment begins. So far, over 100 young men have accessed sperm freezing, and around 50 women have undergone oocyte cryopreservation at the centre. Notably, embryo preservation has become a routine offering for eligible married women aiming to safeguard their fertility before initiating cancer treatment.

Dr. Sheetal Jindal, senior consultant and IVF-PGT Specialist, Jindal IVF, said, “A cancer diagnosis does not signify the end of one’s dream of parenthood. Through our fertility preservation programme, we provide patients with medical, emotional, and ethical support as they navigate both survival and the hope of a family. Our early adoption of onco-fertility solutions and ongoing collaboration with oncology experts uniquely position us to offer timely, compassionate care to those facing dual battles—against disease and the loss of fertility.”

Jindal IVF is regularly entrusted with referrals from leading oncology institutions including PGIMER, Fortis Hospital, MAX Hospital, Tata Memorial Cancer Institute, and others, reflecting its reputation as a trusted onco-fertility care partner in North India.

The company was among the first centres in the region to launch dedicated onco-fertility services, having introduced the program in 2015. It is referral centre for fertility preservation, particularly for young adults diagnosed with cancer at an early stage. Looking ahead, Jindal IVF aims to further strengthen its onco-fertility services through strategic collaborations and dedicated joint clinics, enabling cancer patients to access integrated expert consultations and timely fertility preservation interventions, said the communication note.

With over 12,000 successful deliveries, 20,000+ IUI procedures, and 15,000+ IVF cycles, alongside pioneering techniques such as the PGT-HLA procedure for Thalassemia major patients and high success in complex pregnancies, Jindal IVF continues to redefine reproductive healthcare. The fertility preservation initiative is another chapter in its mission to transform lives and spread the joy of parenthood across North India, stated the press communique.
