 Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services, a world-class specialist aseptic fill-finish contract development and manufacturing organisation located in Stirling, has appointed Jay Chima as vice president, business development, as the company continues to expand in response to growing demand for biologics, advanced therapies and specialist sterile manufacturing.
Jay brings more than 16 years of commercial experience, joining from Recipharm where he served as business development director, with previous senior roles at MedPharm and Advanz Pharma. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening customer relationships, establishing new strategic partnerships and supporting Symbiosis’ continued growth and investment plans.
Jay joins Symbiosis from Recipharm, where he served as business development director and prior to that he held senior commercial positions at MedPharm and Advanz Pharma, building extensive experience supporting organisations ranging from emerging biotechnology companies to global pharmaceutical groups.
Based in London, Jay will work across Symbiosis' commercial organisation to strengthen relationships with existing customers, establish new strategic partnerships and provide market insight that supports the company's continued growth and future investment plans.

The appointment follows a period of sustained investment and growth at Symbiosis.
