Sharda Care Healthcity has appointed Dr Atampreet Singh, neurologist, paediatric neurologist, and epileptologist as the senior director and head of the department of neurology.
Before joining Sharda Care Healthcity, Dr Singh served as director and head of the department of neurology at Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida.
With over two decades of clinical experience in adult and paediatric neurology, he is widely acknowledged for his expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological disorders in both children and adults. He has been a pioneer in advancing neurological services, having independently set up successful epilepsy clinics, video EEG monitoring units, and epilepsy surgery programmes. He has managed over 5,000 epilepsy cases and achieved a 70% seizure freedom rate in 15 surgeries. He also played a key role in establishing state-of-the-art electrophysiology labs and introducing paediatric neurology and epilepsy care in previously underserved regions.
