Indian Institute of Science (IISc) played host to the Healthcare Summit 2025, India’s most forward-looking platform for health innovation, where over 500 industry leaders, clinicians, scientists, and digital health entrepreneurs came together for a transformative day of insight, interaction, and inspiration.
The two day event held from June 13 to 14, 2025 was evolved around the theme “What’s New, What’s Next, and What’s Noble in Healthcare. The summit spotlighted breakthrough ideas and bold visions across AI in healthcare, smart hospitals, longevity science, genomics, digital health ecosystems, and Quantum Ayurveda.
The opening address was by Dr Uma Nambiar, CEO of IISc Medical School Foundation, setting the tone for a future-ready, interdisciplinary medical landscape. There were 10 visionary panels featuring 45+ renowned speakers including: John Dawber, corporate VP & MD, Novo Nordisk Global Business Services, Dr. Tony D S Raj, Dean of Research, St. John’s Research Institute, Dr. Deepak Saini, Professor of Molecular Biology & Aging, IISc, Anuradha Acharya, founder & CEO, Mapmygenome, Ankit Modi, CPO, Qure.ai, Dr. Samir K Brahmachari, Genomics Pioneer & Science Policy Leader, Dr. Rakesh Mishra, director, Tata Institute for Genetics and Society, Harsh Dhand, head – AI Partnerships, Google APAC and Dr. Pariksha Rao, director – nutrition & medical affairs, TheGoodBug — leading microbiome-based innovations for gut health.
Interactive workshops on MedTech innovation, design thinking, and hospital management had over with 100+ participants from across the healthcare spectrum. There were 40+ research paper presentations by PhDs, doctors, and technologists, showcasing cutting-edge work in AI, preventive health, digital therapeutics, and public health. Also commendation awards recognized pioneers in clinical leadership, research, digital health, and innovation.
Besides there were engaging experiences that made an impact. These were Volkswagen Virtus Experience Zone: “I Drive with Clinical Precision” — merging automotive excellence with healthcare precision. FOXO Longevity Wish Tree where participants shared personal goals for healthier, longer lives. Selfee Booth & Commitment Badges encouraging attendees to ‘Rethink. Health. And Care.’
The summit concluded with a landmark panel “Beyond AI: The Next 50 Years of Healthcare,” featuring Dr. Sunil Chandy, Dr. Samir Brahmachari, Dr. Rakesh Mishra, and Dr. Satheesh Kumar Reddy, exploring how biology, technology, and intelligence will converge to create living medicine.
