Ahmedabad based Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited has launched an antibiotic, Gatilink for respiratory infected patients. Gatilink (gatifloxacin) is the latest drug approved by US FDA and is very well recommended by medical fraternity according to Dr. Sanjay Agrawal (GM) Medical Services.
Gatilink is also effective in TB cases who have developed resistance to conventional therapy. According to Rajani.G.Patel, Jt. Managing Director, this product is available now at all retail counters with both the strengths.
Recent studies indicated that respiratory infections are on rise due to pollution and decline of greeneries, this has led to 15 to 20 per cent rise in RTI cases.
