Vasa Denticity, India’s fastest-growing dental products company and parent of the Dentalkart platform, has announced the strategic acquisition of 51% stake in IDS Denmed, the country’s largest traditional dental distribution company.
This deal unites two of India’s dental supply networks, one built online and the other offline, creating an unparalleled ecosystem serving dental professionals across India. The acquisition marks a pivotal move toward building India’s most comprehensive dental platform, combining Dentalkart’s technology-led e-commerce strengths with IDS Denmed’s unmatched offline distribution footprint and long-standing customer relationships, stated the communication note.

Founded in 2006, IDS Denmed has established a robust dealer and clinic network across metros and Tier 2/3 cities, known for its strong portfolio of global dental brands. Vasa Denticity, through Dentalkart, has rapidly grown to serve over 2.5 lakh dental professionals with 22,000+ SKUs, leveraging technology, transparency, and nationwide warehousing.
With this acquisition, Vasa Denticity becomes India’s largest dental supply company, both online and offline. The combined entity will expand its last-mile reach to over 90% of dental clinics in India. Synergies in sourcing, warehousing, and logistics will drive cost efficiencies and faster delivery. The company plans to introduce AI-driven solutions, financing options, and education programs for dentists under a unified platform, said the communication note.
