Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy in its 3rd edition is Job Fair and Career Expo Hackathon 2025 focuses on talent, technological capability, and accountability as the key pillars that shape the future of the pharmaceutical workforce.
According to Prof. Suresh Nagpal, chairman, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, “With the right mindset, continuous learning, and adaptability, pharmacy graduates can shape impactful and rewarding careers both in India and globally.
The two-day event held on September 2 and 3, 2025 at its campus ensured offering on-spot offer letters to be given away to the prospective and promising qualified pharmacy candidates after connecting with top pharma companies.
According to Dr Raman Dang, principal, Krupanidhi Pharmacy College, the event enables exploring exciting job opportunities, networking with industry professionals and seeking expert career advice. All these will only boost the qualified pharmacy candidate’s career prospects.
At the inauguration of the event, the chief guests were Dr Umesh S, Additional Drugs Controller and Licensing Authority, Karnataka Food and Drug Administration along with Jatish N Sheth, president, Karnataka Drugs and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and director, Srushti Pharma were present.
In his address Dr Umesh lauded the world-class campus of Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy noting that it is a grooming ground for the aspiring pharmacy professionals.
Jatish Sheth said that the field of pharmacy is broad, ever-evolving, and expanding at an impressive pace. Today’s students have access to a wide range of exciting and impactful career opportunities across various domains, including: manufacturing, quality control/quality assurance, incremental innovation of existing formulations to bring generic formulations to the next level of medication, R&D for existing products and new products. Biopharmaceuticals, engineering and artificial intelligence are other noteworthy careers.
Noting that retail pharmacy is one of the important components in the healthcare system, he said that Walmart is the largest retail chain in the world vending pharmacy products. Therefore this career avenue provides the much-needed career opportunities. Also teaching, marketing, development of innovative herbal products and entrepreneurship have great career opportunities.
Another critical career opening in the pharma industry is legal compliances required under the Drugs & Cosmetic Act 1940 and the Rules thereunder. This is of particular importance going by the updates in rules and new regulations coming to the fore to make pharmaceutical manufacture and marketing fool proof, said Jatish Sheth.
