RedVersity, the academic and training arm of RED Health, has received formal approval from the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) to become an accredited training provider. With this accreditation, RedVersity is now authorized to conduct government-recognized vocational programs in healthcare and emergency services — a significant milestone in its mission to create industry-ready healthcare professionals across India.
As part of this initiative, RedVersity will soon be launching a series of short-term, skill-based training programmes including Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B), General Duty Assistant (GDA), Geriatric Care Aide (GCA) and Patient Relations Associate (PRA).
These programs will be rolled out across five RedVersity centers in India, providing practical, simulation-based, and job-linked training for aspiring healthcare workers. Each program is designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and hands-on experience required to serve in hospitals, clinics, ambulance services, and other care facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhdeep Singh, founder and CEO of RED Health, said, “India’s journey towards becoming Viksit Bharat by 2047 will not be possible without a strong healthcare workforce. Today, we face a critical shortage of skilled allied health professionals, even as the sector continues to expand rapidly. Through RedVersity’s collaboration with HSSC, we are creating a platform that not only strengthens the healthcare ecosystem but also helps young people across India access quality skill-based education and sustainable employment opportunities. This is a step towards nation-building — one skilled professional at a time.”
The new vocational programs are tailored for young graduates and school-leavers seeking employable skills in healthcare. Each course integrates classroom instruction, simulation-based training, and on-the-job exposure through RED Health’s extensive operational network, which has managed over 6 lakh patients so far.
This initiative is expected to significantly bridge the employability gap in the healthcare sector — one of the largest job creators in the country — while contributing to India’s broader goals of youth empowerment and universal access to quality healthcare.

HSSC is responsible for skill development in the healthcare sector by setting occupational standards and accrediting training providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, industry-aligned training.
