HOSMAC, Asia’s leading hospital planning, design, and management consultancy, has successfully designed and developed Cipla’s ‘Breathefree Lung Wellness Centre’ in Delhi, a 3,500 sq. ft. facility offering a one-stop destination for comprehensive lung diagnostics and wellness services. Cipla, one of India’s foremost pharmaceutical companies, partnered with HOSMAC to bring this vision to life through a complete scope encompassing Interior Design, MEP Design, and Construction.
The new centre represents a significant advancement in respiratory care infrastructure, enabling patients to access integrated diagnostic and wellness solutions in an environment engineered for comfort and clinical efficiency.
It is also a notable example of adaptive reuse in healthcare architecture. HOSMAC converted an existing car showroom into a fully functional clinical facility, an undertaking that required meticulous planning, structural re-evaluation, and a fresh design approach. Ensuring structural integrity was paramount, with reinforcement measures implemented before the commencement of fit-out works.

Departing from conventional sterile clinical environments, HOSMAC designed the centre around the theme of wellness. Each space has been thoughtfully conceptualized to feel welcoming, calming, and visually appealing, enhancing the overall patient experience while supporting caregivers and staff, said the communication note.
