Microbial testing is an important part of pharmaceutical water systems. Traditionally culture-based testing in labs has been used which took 8-10 days to get results. Often test results can be inaccurate or give false positives. Delays in detection mean slower investigations, slower corrections, and greater compliance risk for the plant.
