As the life sciences sector evolves on a rapid pace, the 74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) 2025 aims to accelerate the development of human resources (HR), aligning talent with technological advancements.
With digital transformation reshaping pharma, biotech, healthcare, medical devices and diagnostics sector in India, IPC 2025 from December 19 to 21, 2025 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) seeks to equip the workforce with the skills necessary to harness the potential of emerging technologies in research, production, and healthcare delivery.
By focusing on strategic workforce development, IPC 2025 will ensure that India’s life sciences sector remains competitive, innovative, and well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future. A dedicated HR Conclave and Job will be at the heart of this transformative agenda, shaping the next generation of leaders, scientists, and professionals in the life sciences ecosystem, said Dr. Premnath Shenoy, chairman of the HR Conclave and Job Fair.
Over 15 leading pharmaceutical companies from Bengaluru and Hyderabad have confirmed their participation. These organizations will conduct on site interviews for eligible final year students from undergraduate, postgraduate, and Pharm D programmes, offering them a unique opportunity to transition directly into the workforce, he added.
Leading companies participating include: Himalaya Drugs, Micro Labs, Group Pharmaceuticals, Geltec, Embiotic, Apollo Pharmacy and BioPlus among others. The conclave and job fair are being hosted by Clinosol Research, underscoring its commitment to nurturing the next generation of pharmaceutical talent.
“This initiative is more than a recruitment drive, it is a bridge between academia and industry. By bringing leading pharmaceutical companies directly to our students, we are creating pathways for meaningful careers and strengthening the future of India’s healthcare sector,” said Dr Shenoy.
Chiming in on a similar note was Prof. Mujeebuddin Shaik, founder and CEO, Clinosol Research who said, “Our goal is to empower pharmacy graduates with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a competitive job market. From resume writing to LinkedIn profiling, and through direct engagement with HR leaders, this conclave equips students to step into the professional world with clarity and purpose.”
To this end, Dr Shenoy noted that the IPC, one of the most prestigious gatherings in the pharmaceutical sector, has quickly emerged as one of the star attractions for students and young professionals attending IPC. We will have Pre Placement Talk on December 19 where Prof. Shaik, will deliver an interactive session on ‘Resume Writing and LinkedIn Profiling’, equipping students with essential skills for professional success.
A panel discussion will propel a thought provoking dialogue on ‘Reimagining Employability: Skills and Pathways for 21st Century Pharmacy Graduates’ . This will feature HR leaders and industry experts from top pharmaceutical companies. This session is expected to provide actionable insights into evolving skill requirements, career pathways, and the future of employability in the pharmaceutical sector.
The conclave is expected to draw over 500 pharmacy students, making it one of the largest career focused gatherings within IPC. The event promises to be a transformative platform where academia meets industry, bridging the gap between education and employment, said Dr Shenoy.
