The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is set to host a landmark global academic gathering, the International Physiotherapy Conference 2026 (IPC 2026) & International Hand conclave 2026 (IHC 2026), scheduled from April 16 to 18, 2026, at its Kattankulathur campus, Chennai.
Organised by the SRM College of Physiotherapy (SRMCPT) under the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the conference aims to bring together leading physiotherapists, clinicians, researchers, academicians, and students from across the globe.
The conference will be graced by an esteemed panel of internationally renowned experts, including:
- Dr. Raja Sabapathy, chairman, Division of Plastic Surgery, Ganga Hospital, and president of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand
- Prof. Sallie Lamb, pro-vice-chancellor and executive dean, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Exeter
- Dr. Esther Williamson, senior research fellow, University of Oxford & University of Exeter
- Dr. Cynthia Swarnalatha, senior research fellow, University of Oxford & University of Exeter
- Dr. Asmare Yitayeh Gelaw, Ph.D., epidemiologist in National Centre for Healthy Ageing and Adjunct Research Fellow, Monash University, Australia
At its core, the conference focuses on advancing physiotherapy education and practice through global collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence.
