Vattikuti Foundation focuses on advanced therapies with rise in neurological movement disorders. It intends to help patients improve their quality of life. The Foundation noted that as India's population ages, movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease and essential tremor are placing an increasing burden on patients, caregivers, and healthcare systems alike.
To address the growing need for patient education and awareness, the Vattikuti Foundation will host the NeuroNext Forum in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi and Chandigarh on July 11, 12, 18 and 19 under the theme ‘Restoring life with Focused Ultrasound’.
Conceived as a public awareness initiative for patients and caregivers, the forum will bring together neurologists, neurosurgeons and healthcare leaders to discuss advances in non-invasive brain therapies and their role in improving patient outcomes. Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with experts, explore available treatment options and gain insights into innovations that are improving mobility, independence, and quality of life. The Ahmedabad edition builds on the success of NeuroNext forums across three cities earlier this year, which engaged more than 200 patients and caregivers and over 50 virtual participants. Attendance is free for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, with prior registration required.
