Systech International, a global technology leader in product safety, consumer and brand protection, will bring together pharmaceutical industry leaders, supply chain and global brand managers, analysts and media on October 6, 2016 at the ITC Maratha Hotel, Mumbai, for the third in a series of Systech’s global conferences on serialization, global brand protection and consumer safety titled: UNIQUITY India, 2016.

This one-day conference will provide customers, industry leaders, and equipment manufacturers with a firm understanding of the complex regulatory mandates unfolding around the world in regard to pharmaceutical serialization compliance and traceability. A comprehensive regulatory workshop will discuss and dissect these complex regulations with a focus on the US DSCSA and EU FMD mandates.

“We are delighted to bring our UNIQUITY conference series to India,” says Systech CEO Bob DeJean. “As a global leader in brand protection technologies for over 30 years, we’ve had a unique opportunity to watch this market develop.

“This event opens the door for experts from this dynamic global market to collaborate in developing future-proof technologies that bridge the gap between packaging equipment, serialization, authentication and consumer engagement to create a trusted supply chain.”

Complex supply chain regulations will put substantial pressure on manufacturers. In fact, serialization regulatory deadlines have either passed or are approaching in four of the top five pharmaceutical markets in the world with more being established each year. Today’s brands need long-term, cost-effective solutions beyond machinery and existing processes to safeguard their brands and engage with consumers.

“Without doubt, global manufacturing is being forced to reinvent itself. Product portfolios are much more complex, and new markets and consumers are coming online faster than ever before. As a result, companies want to work with a knowledgeable vendor like Systech to be compliant in this challenging new regulatory environment,” said Dr. Avi Chaudhuri, senior global partner, Systech.

Speakers include: K. L. Sharma, joint secretary, ministry of health & family welfare, government of India; Anice Joseph Chandra, director, ministry of commerce & industry, government of India; Hemant Koshia, Ph. D., commissioner, Food & Drug Administration, government of Gujarat; Dirk Rogers, Systech’s regulatory specialist and former consultant who has published over 300 essays on supply chain, track-and-trace technology, standards and regulatory compliance topics; and Dr. Avi Chaudhuri, a leading expert in pharmaceutical regulations and compliance.
