Dr N Sanjeeva Reddy, Prof and Head, Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Sri Ramachandra University is to get the prestigious Dr B C Roy award under eminent medical teacher category for 2015. A teacher for 31 years for undergraduate and post-graduate students, Dr Reddy was the first to start MCI recognised M.Ch in reproductive medicine and surgery in India in August 2012 at Sri Ramachandra University. Again in 2014 he was the first to start M.Sc Clinical Embryology course for MBBS graduates in India at the university.
Dr Reddy has received a letter from Dr Jayashree Mehta, president, Medical Council of India that the Dr B C Roy National Award Fund Society has selected him for the award. It will be presented by the President of India in January 2017.
