In order to create new opportunities in the pharmaceutical cold chain sector, Cold Chain Community, a knowledge-based business platform powered by the National Accreditation Body for Cold Chain Management (NAB-CCM), will hold one-day conference on November 4, 2025 in Ahmedabad. This significant initiative is supported by the Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA).

The primary objective of this conference is to raise awareness and create avenues in the pharmaceutical cold chain sector by bringing together industry, government and academia on a common platform. As the pharmaceutical industry continues to expand and globalize, the importance of maintaining an efficient and reliable cold chain system has become more critical than ever. This event aims to address challenges, highlight innovations and foster meaningful discussions that will contribute to strengthening India’s cold chain ecosystem.

To ensure the right industry representation, the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) is also extending its support to this initiative by facilitating participation from key delegates across the drug manufacturing sector. With this support, the event is expected to host around 150 delegates, ensuring a rich mix of perspectives from pharmaceutical manufacturers, regulators, technology providers and academia.

The conference will serve as a unique meeting point for pharma leaders, regulatory authorities, cold chain experts, logistics providers, solution innovators and academics. Delegates will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences and explore new technologies and business models that are shaping the future of cold chain management. By facilitating this collaboration, the conference will play an important role in bridging existing gaps and aligning all stakeholders towards a common vision of quality, compliance and efficiency.

Key highlights of the event include expert sessions on regulatory expectations, technology adoption, logistics optimization, sustainability in cold chain and case studies from industry leaders. In addition, the conference will provide ample networking opportunities for participants to engage with peers, regulators and solution providers.

“Cold Chain Community believes that the collective effort of industry experts, government bodies and academia will drive innovation, strengthen compliance and set new benchmarks for the pharmaceutical cold chain sector in India. With the active involvement of FDCA and IDMA, this one-day conference at AMA is a welcome step towards building a robust ecosystem that ensures safe, reliable and efficient delivery of temperature-sensitive products, ultimately benefiting patients and healthcare systems across the country,” informed a representative associated with the development.
